Full view ^_^ Credits Thank you very much for sharing such gorgeous stock! ocean water rocks clouds bay grullo For a character here (site is set to open next month, will add url as soon as I can!) Character based upon Russell Crowe in The Gladiator Behind the image: Initially when I started this, I wasn't going to change the background, but it just seemed to be missing something. I had a vision of the movie 300 and the amazing sky images - which I tried to let influence this piece. It isn't an exact rendition, but I do quite like it. As for a story behind this, I was trying to capture it in a way that the viewer could imagine their own ending. The stallion on the left could be glimpsed gazing at as much a beloved who has recently fallen as a conquered enemy upon a treacherous and solemn shoreline. The bay horse was just so perfect with the highlights that seem almost damp - I wanted that one to nearly blend into the rocks so that at first, a viewer's eyes would be drawn to the stallion, and as a surprise, find that there are actually two horses. Once upon a time, it is all up to you (as the story has not yet begun).
